A little bit about me…

First and foremost, I am a recovering addict. My clean date is December 27th, 2014. Since that date, my life has changed expedentionally. I was an uneducated, unemployable unremarkable child in an adults’ body, and I was transformed to an advocate, a healer, a leader, and a proud woman in recovery.

I completed my diploma in Addiction Counselling in the summer of 2018. Immediately following this, I enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree and finished that in 2022.

Aside from my credentials and education, I bring 10 years of experience in the addiction treatment and recovery field, 7 years of experience working closely with families with addiction issues, and 10+ years of experience facing this deadly disease of addiction.

I am an internationally certified drug and alcohol counsellor with extensive education in family systems, attachment theory, and behaviour mapping.

My time in addiction motivates me to stand up for recovery. I have spoken at events, sat on panels and given presentations regarding recovery and the field of addiction treatment. I am your representation of the life your loved one is or was facing, and I am here to give you insight.
